My Favourite Colours

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday? :)

Right, so the challenge over on the Lili of the Valley blog this week is 'my favourite colours'.  Black and white for me - simples! ;)  I struggle with colour even in real life, and being an original goth, I still only wear black day in and day out....... I really would find anything else quite confusing. lol :)

Occasionally though, I like a brilliant splash of colour and I thought this needed 'something' to give it some va-va-voom.  If I ever buy real flowers I always go for Red and White (blood and bandages my mum used to call it), so in sticking with my 'favourites' theme, I have kept this true.

Thank you so much to everyone that left me comments, suggestions and advice yesterday regarding black cardstock, it was much appreciated, and though my internet was playing up this morning, I will reply and comment later. Coops suggestion of using promarkers for colouring card was exceptional though! :)

Back to the card:  I followed Bev's brilliant sketch over on the Wild Orchid Crafts challenge and used Black and white card and paper from stash.  I coloured the image with promarkers and green sakura glitter pen, and used my shiney new MS punch and flowers from WOC.  I will be entering this card in the below competitions:

Lili of the Valley - Favourite Colours
Crafts and Me - Spread your wings
One Stitch at a Time - Make it pretty
Bearly Mine - Ribbon and Pearls
Dutch Dare - Sparkle, Glitter, Bling - I have used stickles, pearls and glitter pens on this
Really Reasonable Ribbon - Spring - I think this looks fresh and dewey ;)

Thanks so much for looking, enjoy the rest of your weekend,

Your new punch is a stunner & I love th classiness of this. The red of the flowers & gems with that hint of green is beautiful. There's an undestated elegance here which is very individual & striking.
