Sunshine


And here is another colour thats waaaaay out of my comfort zone - yellow! :) lol

Now today would have been my mums birthday, and she just loved lemon, white and sunshine yellow, so I guess I made this with her in mind and I dedicate this card to her.

I followed Minas great sketch over on the Just Magnolia challenge and used K&Co daffodil papers, yellow card candy, MS punch, metal enamelled charm and other gubbins from stash.  The image is also a lot more sparkly than the camera shows, as her frock and ribbons are highlighted with crystal sakura.

    I agree that yellow is kind of difficult:) But you have made a gorgeous card Alison!
    Tilda is adorable and your colouring is fantastic:) Great design and I'm sure your mother would have loved it.

    Very sweet card Alison and I love the yellow, makes you feel all warm and summery on this dull, cold Sunday.

    Hi Alison, yes yellow is a million miles out of my comfort zone too but you've made it look so easy to use. This is just Spring in a card! Perfect image, colours and layout. Love all your little details as usual. xxx

    Lovely to use your Mum's favourite colours for her birthday. Love the way you've added that little touch of green to the ribbon on the lamb & in her hair. Pretty good use of your "gubbins" too! Love the trellis effect with the card candy too & those daffodil like flower heads on the flourish.
