I made this card yesterday following the wonderful (but challenging) sketch by the fabulously talented Mina over on the Just Magnolia Challenge blog this week. I didnt mean it to turn out so bright in the candy/pastel colours, but it just ended up that way. :) Very girly huh?
I hand stitched the stripey panels, used HOTP papers, MS doily punch, promarkers, and flowers from WOC.

Girly is not "Huh", girly is pretty! I really like the card, there are sooo many lovely details to discover - my favorite is the ribbon, that is pulled through the eyelets. Or the swirl? Or the rhinestones? Or the colouring? Or....

Oh wow Alison, beautifull card. love how you have laced the ribbon. I have just come back from Hobbycraft and I very nearly brought that MS lace punch, but it was £17.99 and I think I can get it cheaper on line so resisted the temptation :) That is one awsome sketch and you have done a lovelly job with it. Off now to do some stuff with circles hehe xx

ReplyDeleteLove the colours on this & you do the most amazing things with those ProMarkers. I had to really look at that sketch & I love what you've done with it -those papers are so pretty. The colours are right for Tilda as she can't be anything but girlie.
