Pom Pom and Pearls

Another one of my clean and simple cards! :D lol

I made this card yesterday during 'pc downtime' - tut - its like losing your right arm aint it?  I followed Bev's fab sketch over the the Lili Of The Valley challenge and used the adorable Pom Pom stamp.

I really went to town on the layers on this, beading and hand-stitching and punching.

(close up of beaded corner)

(close up of beaded MS punch)

I used K&Co papers (from very old stash - I think all my papers must be vintage! lol) and used MS punches for the flowers and McGill punch for the leaves.  I used some lovely (and much neglected) brads, lilac twine and stickles.  Sentiment from LOTV and Nellie Snellen circle die and a circle nesties.

I am entering this card in the following competitions:

Lili of The Valley - Great Sketch
Totally Gorjuss - Pearls and Lace
Allsorts - Lots of green for St Pats
One Stitch at a Time - Glitter and gems
Wild Orchid Crafts - Die-ing to punch it out (2nd entry)
Cupcake Craft - Wings and green
Magical Monday - Spring colours
The Crazy Challenge - Eyelets or brads
Simon Says Stamp - Happy Birthday
Charisma Cardz - To 'die' for
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Birthday with pearls
Paper Cutz - Your Choice
Wags n Whiskers - Spring

Thanks so much for looking, have a fabby weekend, and good luck to everyone in these challenges.

Oh my gosh Alison, stunner of a card, WOW, look at all that beading and all the pretty punching and leaves, WOW, hehe. Just love it.

I am sat here at the mo with all my stash in front of me and don't really know what to do, is this what happens when they say 'I have lost my mojo'? Anyway going to go play with the sketch over at Friday Setchers as that looks pretty awsome this week, lots of layers hehe xx

I rather like the punched flowers - took me a while to realize that you'd punhced them from the patterned paper - the illusion is amazing for the shape of the punched petals mimics the flower of the pattern giving almost an illusion of vellum having been used. Extraordinary! This is definitely an intriguing CAS (WINK).
