Purple Cherries

I really will have to get my eyes tested!  This was meant to be Tilda with Lilacs - not Tilda with Cherries! ;) lol.

I made this card yesterday following Bev's sketch on the Just Magnolia challenge.  Since buying my stamping card from LOTV my images are much easier to colour.  Its such good quality it really doesnt bleed when using promarkers, and the white bits dont end up getting coloured either.

I hand-stitched HOTP papers, and also stitched beads to the paper to make the beady-dangly hearts.  These move and sway on the card which I think is quite cool.

I die-cut and punched the layered flowers and swirls, and also die-cut or punched most of the rest of it :)  I have no idea what I did before I got my cuttlebug, but it sure gets some hammer! ;)

I will be entering this card in some of the 'clean and simple' challenges this week - only joking! :D lol.

but I am entering it in the following:

Just Magnolia - Bevs Sketch
Wild Orchid Crafts - Die-ing to punch it out
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
7Kids Challenge - Mardi Gras colours - purple, green, gold.
Do You Stack Up - Layers
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Lots of Pearls
Saturday Challenge - Flowers for mum
Whoopsi Daisy - Pile on the flowers
Paper Playtime - Pick a challenge - Green and Purple/Mardi Gras
One Stitch at a Time - Glitter and gems
Magnolia Down Under - 2 of anything - I have 2 different DP, 2 types of leaves, 2  types of flowers and 2 types of pearls.
Totally Gorjuss - Pearls and Lace.  I hope the lace doily die and the MS lace doily punch counts, if not please delete my entry. :)

Thanks so much for looking, and good luck to everyone in these challenges.

Oh - the pigs are flying again if this is CAS! BUT this kind of CAS I can do too. Absolutely love the colours & am very interested in your comments about the card - have heard that Stampin' Up Whisper White is supposed to be good for ProMarkers too - had the chance to see the Whisper White over the weekend & was most impressed over its smoothness - but of course don't know how it fares with ProMarkers/Copics.

Hi Alison. Stunning card as always. Love the colours and layout and such a sweet Tilda image. The beaded detail is gorgeous and love the flowers and swirls. Is the larger flower also a die or a punch? Thanks for the info on the LOTV paper, had been considering it as the paper I have used, I can not get anymore. Good luck with your challenges. Donna
