Oh wow! I have been waiting to share this news for days, and its been killing me! :) lol.
..................I have been asked to join the DT for I LOVE PROMARKERS !!! :) Woop woop! This has long been one of my favourite challenge blogs as everyone knows I love my promarkers! I feel so lucky and honoured to be asked to join such a talented team.
So this weeks challenge is real simple - Anything Goes - which is brilliant, and we are sponsored this week by Sentiments 4 You, - you can resize these circular sentiments to fit any nestie - which is perfect.
I spent ages looking for the right colour card for matting my image and sentiment, and I remembered that the very clever Coops once suggested that you dont need to buy coloured card - just colour your card with your promarkers - simples! lol So I just used my blush PM and coloured the backing card, scalloped nestie and the fleur-de-lys die. Genius, and it took seconds.

CONGRATULATIONS. Brilliant news. That sentiment is tremendous & I just love the Fleur-de-lys trim with those pearls. Stunning composition & super with the sheer ribbon bows & tails. I have to think hard about your Goth side when i see such a girlie creation - brilliant having a foot in both camps.

ReplyDeleteHi sweetie this is sooooo beautiful & big huge congrats to you on your new DT position so well deserved hun. I love this card its gorgeous. Its extremely rare I do that when matting my cards I dont like it using up my ink plus it just takes too long by the time you wait for it to dry. I like the easy option & like any crafter love all different coloured card lol.

Oh WOW Alison this is absolutely fantastic news!! I am so far behind with my blogging so apologies the congrats are a couple of days late :) Work has kept me away from card making and blogging all week, but am trying to catch up while I have got a few days off.
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous as well, love the colour and isn't it a neat trick using your promarkers to colour your card, I do the same with ribbon, got a real of plain white so can colour it to match the card :)
Off to try and make some cards got a few birthdays next week including my sons 17th eek, no clue what card to make him hehe
