One Stop Craft Challenge - Special Birthdays

Second post of the day


So I am back with my second card for today, and this is my DT card for One Stop Craft Challenge, where the theme this week is 'Special Birthdays' in honour of Shelleys 30th :) .  We are sponsored this week by Limited Runs and I hope you find time to check out the challenge and the gorgeous work by the rest of the DT.

I have had this little Tilda for ages, and she always looks so pretty with a bit of lace and sparkle.  I coloured her and the backing card with PM's and then used stickles and sugar-glitter for some extra bling.  I edged the roses with a glue pen and dipped them in the glitter pot too so its very sparkly in RL - (and so are my dogs lol ;)  The lace doily and key charm are from stash.

    Hi sweetie wow this is soooo beautiful I sooo love the colour I'm loving blues at the mo too & this is gorgeous. I love this Tilda she is one of my faves & you are right about her being teamed with sparkle & lace & your lace sure is beautiful.

    Another cutie Alison, I do love Tilda but for some reason I haven't brought any yet (keep spending all my money on Create and Craft!!)

    I like the way the serrated edge & scallops of the doily pick up the scallops of your circular panel, the lace & the scalloped card base edges - really effective witht the theme running through - even to the key head shape. Then I saw the way the pattern of the doily mimics the pattern in your lace! Never mind the way she's perched as if her shoes are a couple of scallops. Besides which I love those blues & the sparkly tiara & band on her dress. Ooops got a bit carried away again - was just going to mention the glitter - R will tell me the bathroom floor is winking at him!
