Maisie On A Shroom

Hope everyone has had a fabby weekend? :)  We spent a lovely day strolling along the Crinan Canal and visiting the Marina yesterday (known as Britains most beautiful shortcut) .

Anyway, back to my card.  I think this has to be my favourite LOTV image ever - isnt she just as cute as a dumpling? :)  I hand-stitched Prima papers, used spellbinder dies and the roses were from WOC.  The shroom was cut from my digital die-cutter, and the latex leaves were from ebay.

I am entering this card in the below competitions:

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Stampin for the Weekend - Spots and Dots
Allsorts Challenge - Red Card
Creative Card Crew - Best foot forward

Thanks so much for looking at my blog today and I really do appreciate and read all my comments :)

  10. Super the way you have co-ordinated the spotted mushroom with her spotted hair bow, never mind your die-cut 'shroom' too. Love the combination of reds you used too & very effectively enhanced with the greens. This is one of my favourites from the latest LOTV images.
Like your use of those pearls on the edge of the image panel & the waste from your die-cutting too.
