Well this post almost didnt get written. Blogger has been a right nightmare for me today and I nearly chucked the towel in as it got to 1am and was still unable to edit my post. :( I was literally sat in tears - tut!
Anyway, today sees the start of a new challenge over at I ♥ Promarkers and our theme this week is 'Time'. We are sponsored this week by the fabby Crafty Emmas Store so well worth playing along! :)
This challenge had me scratching my head for days - lol! I had no idea how to interpret the theme with what I had, but eventually settled on the gorgeous 'Dandelion Clock' stamp by Lili of the Valley. I love this stamp!
I used some marble sky glitter card for the backing, and cut lots of little dandelion type flowers from a Marianne die. I then added irridescent MS tinsel glitter, layering them up and slotting into the back of another Marianne die. I was aiming for it to resemble a clock! lol. The border die is Memory Box and the doily die is Nellie Snellen.

ReplyDeleteAww sorry to hear that Blogger has been a right pain for you!! I had trouble with it a few weeks ago. I was doing a DT post and Blogger changed one paragraph in it to mega HUGE UGLY font and I tried everything to correct it. Ended up having to do a whole new post and redo all my links. I was literally tearing my hair out by the end of it!! Hope it behaves for you from now on !!!

Hi Alison, I totally understand what you are saying about Blogger. I sat with tears too tryin to post and I ended up having to change my browser because it doesn't want to work with IE9.

Alison, this is gorgeous and a very clever interpretation of the theme! I think the flowers tucked behind the die look like a big dandelion clock. The whole thing is just gorgeous.
