Charisma Cardz - Ribbon, Ribbon, Ribbon



Morning, I am back again today with another card :)

...... and todays card is for our new challenge over at Charisma Cardz which is 'Ribbon, Ribbon, Ribbon'.  We are sponsored this week by Crafty Emmas Store and Digi-Doodle Shop, so 2 fabby prizes and well worth playing along.

Now I thought for this theme I would have a bash at ribbon weaving.  Using the MS punch made it really quick and easy, as I didnt have to worry about keeping the spacing even, or keeping the ribbon straight. ;)  

The image is a gorgeous Lili of the Valley stamp, which I have had for ages, so thought it was high time I used it! :) lol.  I hand stitched First Edition paper and just added Card Candi, MS butterflies and also used glossy accents and glitter on the 'bloons'.

    OMG Alison! This is a piece of art! I just can't stop looking at it. Love the color combo, it looks so delicate, the papers are beautiful, the image is so sweet, and it is perfectly coloured.     Brilliant thinking with the MS punch for the spacing & I love the way you used different widths of ribbon for the weaving. The colours are gorgeously soft & I love your balloons with the real thread - unless my screen is lying in varying lavender shades.
