Good morning - I hope everyone has smashing plans for the weekend! :)
Todays card is for our new challenge over at Sweet Stampin where this week the theme is 'Lots of Layers'. We are sponsored by the wonderful Sew Sweet who are giving the winner a £10 voucher to spend online and also The Stamp Fairy, who generously gave the DT some of the cutest digi-images to play with! :)
My image is called Patsy - April Showers and she was just adorable to colour. I hand stitched and inked the edges of MME paper and just added some laser-cut wooden flowers, twine, printed sentiment and dew-drops.

Super dimension you coloured into that umbrella & her coat really looks shiny. The raindrops are picked up beatufiully by those gems on the wooden flowerheads & I love the way that the meshwork patterns of the various papers are echoed by your horizontal trellis strip as well as your stitching (the twine picks it up too - the more I looked the more I saw!).
