C.R.A.F.T. GDT Card - Cerridwen


1st Post of the Day


Morning :)  Here with my first post of the day and my last card as GDT for C.R.A.F.T Challenge, I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it :)

Our new challenge for this week is 'Background Text' and again there are multiple sponsors and lots of chances to win a fab prize.  We are sponsored by My Heart Pieces, EyeCandie Creations and Saturated Canary and our Star of the Month winner will receive a prize from Stitchy Bear Stamps.

I was given this gorgeous image 'Cerridwen' to work with and she was just wonderful to colour.  I used a mixture of MME and Prima papers and coloured the image with Promarkers and added shimmery highlights with a Sakura shimmer pen.

The border punch is MS, the dies are Spellbinder and the flowers are WOC.  I followed the sketch over on Sketch Saturday and once I had chosen this to work with, this card really just seemed to make itself :)

    This one is soooo beautiful! Super cute image, love the colouring of the dress with hightlights and sparkles =)And the design is magnificent!

    Glorious shabby chic & I love your shading of her dress.
    The tiny sparkly blue bits of the roses are a masterstroke really bringing out the aqua elements of the bottom leafy patterned layer.

    I love these images, they are just so pretty and your colouring is just lovely. Need to get some more of these as only have one at the moment. Love the layout, will have to look at the that blog as I used to really enjoy following a sketch. :)
