Joanna Sheen - Remember When

We are going vintage this time on the Joanna Sheen Challenge where the theme for our new challenge is 'Remember When'.  The winner will receive a fabulous £15 gift voucher to spend online at Joannasheen.com so well worth joining in!

I was given this wonderful stamp set called Ladies of the Night to play with, and there are oodles of brilliant images in this from steampunk to couture.  They are great as either main images or accessories too.

For my card I hand-stitched MME paper (I am on a roll with these!) and designed my own suspenders on my digi-cutter and stitched the ribbon to them.  I stamped the images on lightly patterned paper and added extra shading with DI pens.

I also hand-stitched tiny black seed beads for extra dimension and added black glitter for a bit of bling. The word was cut on my Silhouette digi-cutter too.

I really enjoyed making this card and got quite carried away with it! lol :)

I will be entering this card in the following competitions:

Oooh La La Creations - Ribbon or twine
Totally Gorjuss - Something New - stamps

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today and I hope everyone is having a smashing weekend,

  12. Love the idea of the suspenders & that broderie anglaise type of matting is very apt - makes me think of petticoats. Your stistiching & seed beads add lovely detail & I've got some similar stamps that I'm itching to play with - another bookshop duty tomorrow but it keeps me in craft supplies.
    Have a good week.
