Sweet Stampin - Things With Wings

Good Morning :) and happy weekend! Yay!

Todays card is for our new challenge over at Sweet Stampin where this week our theme is one of my favourites - 'Things with Wings'!.  We are sponsored by the brilliant Lili of the Valley and also the very generous Joanna Sheen!  Excellent prizes, so I hope you find time to play along.

I think I kept this card pretty simple - I loved the Prima papers, so didnt want to really cover them up - lol!  I coloured this gorgeous Lili of the Valley 'Never too old for a hug' Fairy with PM's and a little bit of stickles.  The doily die, butterfly and leaves are Cheery Lynn and the punch is MS.  The silver baby's breath flower (and 2 tiny black roses) are WOC and the dotty ribbon is Joanna Sheen.

I am entering this card in the below competitions:

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp - Bingo - glitter, free, die cuts
Divas By Design - For a female
The Stampman - Metal/medals - Silver, I have silver metal spacers behind my brads and a silver flower.
Crafters Companion - Best Friends
Lexis Creations - Sparkle & Shine
Dream Valley - Die Cuts & Punches
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, and I hope you have a really great weekend!

  13. Very striking with your use of the stamped image & the image on the patterned paper. The use of black is terrific with the subtle bluey greys. The dotty ribbon really picks up on the pearls around the edge of the image panel as does the scalloped punched border in terms of the scalloped frame.

I'm glad you got your heart tag on order, hope it arrives soon for you. I just placed the back of mine behind the ribbon to hold it in place and make it still removable.
I got on great at the Hosp it was results of an MRI scan and I'm all clear thank goodness, I had been suffering bad headaches and ear ache, I'm so relieved everything is ok. Thanks for asking. Hugs Teresa xx
