GDT @ Tuesday Morning Sketches


Good Morning :)  I hope everyone is having a great week so far.

Today sees the start of a new challenge and a great new sketch over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  This weeks sponsors are Stampfairy, and I adore these images, so well worth playing along if you have time.

I stitched HOTP papers onto ice white Centura Pearl card, and used the same cardstock for all the dies.  The border and image frame are Spellbinders, the tag is DooHickey and the Holly Lace Flourish, snowflakes and sentiment are Cheery Lynn.  I coloured the image with Flexmarkers (love those icy pale shades) and finished it off with some glitter and much forgotten bling :)

    Now I wonder what the news is........hmm.....it can't be the ETSY so must be something (aha - I'm not going to spill the beans). Superbly icy & I love that carrot nose the way it 'pops' against everything. Using the same cardstock throughout really makes a difference & adds brilliant cohesion (not sure I've got quite the right word there but the walking dictionary is midst sneezing fit.......)

    Hi Alison, awwww such a sweet image and a gorgeous card.

    Thanks for the advice on colouring on my recent whingy post about how bad I am at colouring!! I'm surprised to read you feel you aren't a confident colourer - I would never have believed that!! You colour so well.

    Got me wondering now what you surprise is!!! I'll be back later.
