Firstly I want to apologise for being a bit of a lapse blogger lately - :(
I have struggled at times to keep up with my commenting due to my rubbish satellite internet (Avanti), and I usually pride myself on returning visits and comments and I love seeing what everyone has been up to. Its often easier for me to visit every few days as it uses less of my costly bandwidth.
I have moaned about my satellite internet in the past quite enough, but recently we were sold onto another company (QSat) without consultation, and just checkout these prices and packages!! :(
Being very rural we have absolutely no other choice, and at times its cripplingly slow and imo rather costly to boot - Niall Quinn - take note! We can only justify paying for 512kbps (like pulling teeth) and it has a very low usage cap. As Scottish Rural customers we are not even allowed the nightsaver option!
Anyhoo - to celebrate reaching 400+ followers, and over 100,000 hits (how amazed and blown away am I) I would like to offer up some candy.
Up for grabs are 2 of my very favourite Cheery Lynn dies (new ones, not my used ones! lol) and I will also chuck a few other bits and bobs in including a Prima Nature Garden 6 x 6 paper pad and a Kenny K rubber stamp.
This candy will stay open until 6th January, as my blog like many others is likely to go a bit quiet over the Christmas and New Year period - LOL
All I ask is that you are a follower (I always follow back) and please only follow if you like my blog. Feel free to put a pic in your sidebar, or post about it, but its not compulsory (rules schmules!).

OH BAHHH!! Technology is a bummer sometimes.. I am not as rural as you are but I get the problem. I used to live near london where the cable internet never faltered. I live by the sea now and hello connection on, off, on, off.. Still I love where i live now.. Anyhooo I digress

Surely in todays techno age something better can be done what you are paying is downright ridiculous they are punishing you for where you live IMO and it's wrong

Hi Alison, technology is great - when it works, but if not you're up the creek without a paddle!! I know it's like loosing a limb when my internet goes down, we come to rely on these things so much!!

My goodness it does look as if you have a very rough deal with your internet. I'd fallen off your Followers so have remedied that (I still can't get my head round how the new Reader works so have resorted to other means of keeping up - lost my RSS Feeds with the new Apple Upgrade but with what you're putting up with I've nowt to complain about. Thanks for doing this - very thoughtful.

Blinking ink, they have got you over a barrel really with your internet.Disgusting the ammount you have to pay for such a low GB, i have 40GB a month, changing to unlimited in january and i only pay about £30 and thats for my phone and line rental too.Makes me really aprreciate you visiting me even more.

Hi Alison, you're not alone with Satlellite Broadband (people who don't have to use it often don't know what you are on about). I have to have it here in Kent as well. We are now covered by a company called VFast and we persuaded them to come into our area after the terrible service form a previous company. Might be worthwhile having a look at too. Lovely blog candy, BTW!

Hi Alison. It is good to meet you. I came over to congratulate you on having over 400 subscribers. I am still trying to get to 150. It seems like I reached 135 and just kind of been creeping along ever since. lol.. Not that I mind as I mostly do this for fun and to meet new people. I love to see what other crafty people are up to and it is always such a bonus when you get to know them as well. I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas if you celebrate it. I read about your banwith problems and even though I have no idea how to gage the cost, I think it sticks that you are left with no other options. It truly is a crime that you aren't even getting extra for the extra money. That just isn't fair. Thanks for the chance at your awesome give-a-way. I just started collecting Cherry Lynn dies and OMgoodness they are so much nicer than even Spellbinder (and I had a lot of those, lol).
