Woo, its good to be back! :) lol. What a week that was, first my electricity was off for 3 days, and then my internet was unhappy, and then Mr Blogger had a mardy! tut.
So, this is my DT card for I ♥ Promarkers this week, where the new challenge is 'sparkly/bling'. Now I love an excuse to get girly and add heaps of pretty embellies, so this was brilliant. We are sponsored this week by the uber-generous Joanna Sheen, who's shop I visit regularly and really do buy all my promarkers from! :) Shame I cant enter then! lol.
I used a gorgeous Sweet Pea image called 'Restless Thoughts' and she was just lovely colour. I distressed, inked and hand stitched all the paper panels and made the centre flower from a Marianne Die, (also distressed and inked). The other flowers are of course WOC, and I used a spellbinder die, MS punch and a branch leaf punch by McGill. Its quite a bit more sparkly in RL too, but for some reason Sakura glitter pens just dont photograph :( tut.

ReplyDeleteHi sweetie this is blinking GORGEOUS first you have useda Sweet Pea which are my fave ever then you've chosen gorgeous colours & added fabulous flowers & pearls.....& I have that same lace in a couple of colours isnt it gorgeous hun. This is right up my street hun, my kinda card its just amazing!!!

ReplyDeleteThe combiantion of aqua, brown & creamy yellows in this is just stunning & I love all the pearls & how those brown branches pick up the shape of the pointed bits on the nestie's border (hope that explains what I mean) - your placing of the lace the punched border & the Nesite border down that left hand side is quite amazing. The splashes of green on the roses are a lovely accent to the yellowy almost greeness of those ivy leaves.
