Cheery Lynn Designs - Winter Whites



Hi and Good Morning :)  I  hope everyone is having a great week so far.

Our new challenge this week over at Cheery Lynn Designs is 'Winter Whites', and so this is a lovely excuse to brighten up a dark January with a sparkling fresh card.   The winner as always will win a fabulous $20 voucher to spend online at the Cheery Lynn Store.
 
I started off with a 6 x 6 blank card base and used American Crafts textured cardstock for all the matting, layers and die cuts. 
 
I cut the elegant French Lattice Frame for the background as it added depth and always looks really stylish.  The borders are the beautiful Anastasia lace border, and to hide the join to the frame I cut a delicate strip from the Expandable Tiny Borders die plate.  This is a really useful multiple border die.
 
I coloured a cute Sylvia Zet digi image and layered onto circle stackers and the gorgeous Pinwheel Doily die.  The snowflowers are a mix of different snowflakes layered up and secured together with pearl brads.

    Gorgeous with your delicate colouring of the image. The layering of those borders with the background die looks super the way you've hidden the join - it's things like tat which make all the difference to the finish I find.

    Hi Alison. I hope you don't get this twice. lol... I hit the wrong key and it kicked me completely off my computer. Gggrr.. Anyway, I wanted to tell you just how beautiful I think your card is. I love the white and how gorgeous it looks with all the layers and depth that you have made with the dies. It really is a fantastic card and I haven't even told you how much I love how you have colored her. :O) I love the softness to your coloring with this. It just makes the white look even prettier.
