Sweet Stampin - Scallops

Hi and Good morning :)  I hope everyone has some smashing plans for the weekend!

So, our new challenge this week over at  Sweet Stampin is 'Scallops' and we are sponsored by the brilliant Heather Ellis and our fab monthly sponsor, The Ribbon Girl.

Now, this card will teach me to rummage in my scraps box when I need inspiration! lol.  Im not that keen on it tbh, as it seems a bit colourful or even 'off colour' to me.  I am still plodding on with DI's and trying to give it my best shot, so I picked another quite simple LOTV image to have a practise on.  The papers are MME, the dies are a mix of Cheery Lynn and spellbinders, and the punch is MS.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog, have a brilliant day, and I hope to pop along and catch up later,

  12. I like the way you card candi echoes both the scallops of your matting & the lacey scallops of theat border on the left, plus the spotted pattern in the paper. The deep pink of the crown the little dog is wearing rings out the pink spots & your bunting beautifully too.
Keep persevering with the colouring - it'll click one day.
Have you tried hot press watercolour paper?
