Love is in the Air - I ♥ Promarkers

Awww! Forever Friends bears always make me want to hug someone - how scarey is that?!! :D lol

Our new theme today over on I ♥ Promarkers is 'Love is in the Air', and we are sponsored this week by Letraset who are giving the winner a fab pack of Promarkers! :) Brilliant!

For this card I used a great digi-stamp from one of my Forever Friends cd's and printed it 3 times (once on red Bazzill) so I could layer it up.  The rest of the work was done on my Cuttlebug and I used one of my favourite Marianne layered dies, a joy craft heart die and a swirly embossing folder.  The pearly card is centura from Crafters Companion and its so much more gorgeous IRL!

I am entering this card in the below competitions:

Do You Stack Up - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes + Love
Allsorts Challenge - Free & Easy (2nd entry)
Bling it On - Love is all around
Emerald Faeries - Be My Valentine
Crafters Companion - Anything Goes
Forever Friends Monthly Challenge - Valentine
Simon Says Stamp - Love is in the Air
Truly Scrumptious - Love & Hearts
Ooh La La Creations - Valentine

Thanks so much for looking at my blog today, and I will be back tomorrow with another card,

Charisma Cardz - Last Minute Xmas Makes

Sooooo, Christmas is really marching on its way!... and this weeks theme on Charisma Cardz is 'Last Minute Christmas Makes'.  We have mutliple sponsors this week, Meljens Designs, Pretty Little Ribbon Shop and All That Scraps, so lots of great prizes and well worth playing along.  The rest of the DT have come up with some great and original inspiration too, so I hope you get time to check it out. :)

For my 'last minute xmas makes' I set my digi-die cutter off and let it do all the work! :D lol.  Both of these boxes were available as a download, and I just walked way and left it to it.  It took about 15 mins to cut both boxes, and then just about 10 mins to fold them, fill with sweeties and tie up with ribbon.   I dangled little Tilda faeries and thought that these were lovely, inexpensive gifts for classmates or colleagues.

I actually have to sell my fabulous digi-die cutter (Silhouette SD), because Santa is bringing me a larger model for christmas.  Hubby says I dont need 2, and he is right, so if anyone is interested in buying it before it ends up on ebay, please feel free to email me.  I have the box and all the original gubbins (software etc), and as you can see from my blog its created some wonderful things, but has not been over-used at all.  It is just 6 months old.

I also thought I would share a pic of the 'Advent Calendar' I made for my very generous husband! :) and he has been taking these in his pack-up for work.  They are not normally this full though! lol :D

I designed the label in Do-Crafts Forever Friends software, imported it to my Silhouette software, printed it, cut it and then cut out the numbers in different paper patterns.

I am entering my gift boxes in the following competitions:

Paper Sundaes - Anything Christmas
Just Magnolia - White Christmas
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Fancy Folds/Shaped
ABC Christmas Challenge - Yippee, its Christmas
Passion for Promarkers - Mega Xmas Challenge - Celebrate christmas - 2nd entry
Magnolia Down Under - Lost & Found.  The red bow was recycled from a chocolate box

Thanks so much for looking at my blog today, and good luck to everyone in the competitions.

I love how cosy Forever Friends bears are, so this image seemed perfect for this theme.  Its a digi-stamp from one of the FF cd's and I paired it with some HOTP scraps (yep, scraps) Spellbinder and Marianne dies and an  MS snowflake punch.

I am entering this card in the below competitions:

One Stitch at a Time - Use a digi
Christmas Card Challenges - Chocolate, cream and raspberry
Crafters Companion - Christmas Wishes
Forever Friends Challenge - Use your dies
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for looking, and have a great weekend,

Well, I've made a start..........

.... on my christmas cards that is!! :) lol

I have been meaning to make a christmas card for weeks, and am perpetually shamed when I visit so many blogs with beautiful cards all made nice and early and organised for xmas.

So, I followed the great sketch on the Forever Friends blog, and coloured this gorgeous digi-stamp (Do-crafts F.F.cd) with my pro-markers.  I spent hours last week sorting my colours and trying different combos to try and get the right shades for these bears - Im such a perfectionist! lol

I made the poinsettas from Marianne Dies, and edged the red paper with a ruby PM.  I found this fabby glitter in a small packet tucked inside a kit, and it looks amazing in RL!  I used HOTP papers, MS punch and sentiment from a Forever Friends kit.

I am entering this card in the below competitions:

Forever Friends - Great Sketch
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Totally Gorjuss - Bling it on
Stamptacular Sunday - Pile it On
The Crafty Pad - Circles
Pear Tree Designs - Colourful
Paper Playtime - Digi Friends
The Crazy Challenge - 3 different DP
Craft Your Passion - Show us Your Layers
Top Tip Tuesday - Squares
Tuesday Throwdown - Brads or Eyelets

Thanks so much for looking, hope everyone has a great BH weekend,  Im now off to watch the wedding! ;)

Forever Friends for Mothers Day

I have no idea where this week has gone!!.. it must be because we put the clocks forward or something! ;) lol.

So, something slightly different from me today, as I have been on a mission all week to seek out my Forever Friends stamps and have a play.

This is for 2 reasons;

1.  The Forever Friends challenge blog has a great challenge this week, and lots of candy to re-launch its new ownership.  I have been a follower of this blog for a while, as Forever Friends have quite a special place in my heart, and it would be great to see more people play along.

2.  One of the last things my mum bought me before she passed away, was loads of FF goodies, stamps, papers, decoupage and a CD full of gorgeous cute designs.  I have not felt able to use any of them until now, but rather than keep them all intact I'm sure she would want me to have  a play with them. :)

I used MME papers, MS punch and flowers from stash.

I followed the great sketch over on Fuzzy Wuzzy challenges, and will be entering this card in the spirit of Mothers Day in the following competitions as my mum inspired me so much.

Forever Friends - Create any card with a Forever Friends image
Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenges - Fab Sketch
Totally Papercrafts - Cuddly and Cute

Stampin for the Weekend - Mothers day.

Thanks so much for looking, have a fab day, and good luck to everyone in these challenges,

3 Challenges

We are having a scorchio May here in Scotland!. I took my dogs Kevin and Oliver for a swim in the waterfall at the back of the house this morning.  It was glorious, and cooled them down a treat.
This afternoon while they relaxed and snoozed, I made one card that i'm hoping fits 3 challenges.

I have loved Forever Friends bears all my life I think, something about them just makes me want a hug! :) Recently I bought the Docrafts Forever Friends digital designer cd, and in the christmas section there are about 30+ digital stamps to print off and colour yourself.  This image is taken from that cd.

I am entering it in the following 3 challenges:

I'm getting quite addicted to sketches, so on CCT there is a great sketch by Caroline Sears .  I admire her work so much, and on Papertake Weekly we had to use flowers.  I love, love, love the flowers at Wild Orchid Crafts, and this is to be in with a chance of winning a prize from them.

I used HOTP papers, and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, die cut some leaves and flower backings from the scraps, and used a white peel off for the sentiment from Dawn Bibby Designs.

Hope everyone else has had a beautiful summers day :) xx
