A Touch Of Spring

I am sooooo looking forward to brighter days!  Its chucking it down here today so I wanted to make something bright, light and cheery.  I used my very favouritest new stamp from Lili Of The Valley - called Pom Pom, and followed the fab sketch over on Cute Card Thursday.  The challenge on LOTV this week is 'anything but a square', so I adapted the sketch to suit a landscape rectangle card.

I coloured with promarkers, die cut the leaves and mats, and used some fabby new white roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Papers are K&Co, and buttermilk glitter card.

I am entering this card in the following competitions:

Lili Of The Valley - Not a square card
Cute Card Thursday - Great sketch
Everybody Art - Favourite things - this is my newest favouritest stamp :)
Magical Mondays - Flowers - 2nd entry
Top Tip Tuesday - Flowers - 2nd entry - a great tutorial on the Top Tip Tuesday blog for making flowers :)
Colour Create - Lemon, Lime and white
Moving Along with The Times - Spring
Paperplay Challenges - Layers
Do You Stack Up - Patterned Paper
Crafts 4 Eternity - Polka Dots
Sew Many Challenges - Green

Thanks for looking, and good luck to everyone in these challenges

Fab Fab card Alison, I am so tempted by those LOTV stamps but I am being a good girl and staying away - have still got stamps that I haven't used yet!! and have you seen the new KennyK Girlz, am staying away from there as well, but finding them even harder to resist!

Love the design and colours in your card and love all your dies.

Thank you for popping by my blog and your wonderfull comments and I must apologise as you keep asking me questions and I keep forgetting to answer them! I use copic ciao (as they are cheaper) and get them from artifolk.co.uk I dont have many but any skin is done with copics. They have a very different nib to promarkers, and is bigger and softer going to a small point, more like a paintbrush. And you asked me ages ago about the promarkers I used on the Love You card for her hair - they are the cool grey 1 - 5 :)

Phew - long comment hehe - look forward to seeing your GDT spot cards, so I will be back xx
