One Stop Crafts Challenge - Easel Cards

Well, its the weekend! :) yay! I am currently in a brilliant mood after watching Karl Pilkington last night in An Idiot Abroad (my hero!) He makes me laugh SO much! :D

Anyway, our new challenge this week over at One Stop Crafts is Easel Cards :)    We are sponsored this week by Stitchy Bear Stamps and if you remember I got this great image from there a while back.

Now, I really like making easel cards, they use up loads of scrap and always look really special, and you can just bung loads of embellies on them! :)

They just arent that easy to photograph! lol.

Anyway the gorgeous flowers are the new spellbinders floral die 2, and I was thrilled with how they turned out!

I used Martha Stewart PATP, Marianne dies, Prima Botanical Papers and the chipboard tags were free with a magazine.

I am entering this card in the following competitions:

Emerald Faeries - Pearls
Ooh La La Creations - Punches/Dies
Paper Playtime - Easel Cards
Simon Says Stamp - Dies to Die for
Crafty Creations - Fabulous Faeries
Stampin for the weekend - What a cutie

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, and I hope everyone has a fabby weekend!  :)

WOW Alison this is gorgeous, love the flowers they really are stunning and love the lacy effect around the card, so pretty.

I am also relieved it's the weekend, one of those horrible weeks at work and was also hit by a cough and cold which has kept me up at night, so have had a great lie in this morning and now feel very refreshed and looking forward to getting on with some crafting :)xx

Your colours are stunning & really so evocative of the present autumnal scenery. I love that flower too, quite striking with the glitter. Your lacey edging is very effective & I particularly like how your use of white has accented the whole design.

Hi Alison, thanks for your lovely comment! The leaves are from Wild Orchid Crafts. They were pack of various shapes. They have some similar ones in pack of brown shades too!!! I really like using leaves too, but they are quite hard to find?
