Anything Goes - Sweet Stampin

Good morning and happy weekend! :)

Now today I am off to do my very first Craft Fair!!  I havent even been to one before, let alone turned up with stuff to sell!  lol! :D

So todays card is for our new challenge over at Sweet Stampin where this week we have a nice and easy theme of 'Anything Goes'.  We are sponsored by 'A Day For Daisies', who gave the DT some lovely images to work with.

I used  Beautiful Pixie and just hand-stitched and distressed Prima Alla Prima papers, added bakers twine, ribbon,  some chunky brads to the laser cut wooden flowers, and then painted white acrylic paint to give it a shabby look.

I am entering this card in the below competitions:

Die-ing for a Challenge - Blue and Brown
Papertake Weekly - Bingo - Ribbon, Free, Punched Shapes
Simon Says Stamp - Bingo - Flowers, Glitter, Brads

Thanks so much for checking out my blog today, and I hope everyone has a smashing weekend

Hope the Craft Fair goes well for you. Love those chunky brads on the wooden flowers & your rectangular doily with the twine is a lovely idea. The criss crossing of the shiny ribbon really prepares the eye for your glittering of her wings, hair & dress & I really like the varying depths of aqua from the dark to the softer greenish that you have used coupled with the browns. Striking colour theory in operation here.
