GDT at C.R.A.F.T Challenge - Buttons

2nd Post of the Day

Wooo!!!  I was really thrilled to be asked to be a GDT for the month of May over at C.R.A.F.T Challenge .

This weeks challenge is 'Buttons'......... now most of you know I struggle with buttons, and I still thinks they belongs on yer cardi!  But I found these wee wooden buttons in my stash and thought they were really cute -  they have almost helped me overcome my button aversion!   :D lol.

We are sponsored this week by In 2 Stamps, Digi Doodle Shop and Love to Stamp, so some really cute prizes too.

I coloured in a sweet LOTV image with PM's and hand-stitched one sheet of K&Co double-sided paper.  I used a stunning Cheery Lynn doily die called Sophias Heart, and also stitched the green pearl beads to that.  The borders are spellbinder Persian dies, and the sentiment came with the stamp.  This card is 8 x 8 inches, and I am amazed that I managed to fill it without too much of a struggle! :)

I am entering this card in the below competitions:

Lili's Little Fairies - Anything Goes
Do You Stack Up - Circles
Bunny Zoe's Challenge - Ribbon or Twine
Simon Says Stamp & Show - Kaleidoscope of colour
Paper Playtime - Anything Goes
I ♥ Promarkers - Faeries
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Southern Girls Challenge - Get your Girly On!

Thanks again for visiting my blog today, I hope everyone has a great day!

Goodness - the way you use die-cuts is an art in itself, are you going to start tutorials on your blog? The green & white layering of borders/frames is remarkable & I love those buttons & the way your sentiment inking picks up their colour.

PS - We have bats here too, thankfully though not in the house! But when we converted the stables we had to have a bat survey done and put bat homes up on the walls. Don't think they use them though, how rude!!!
