Sweet Stampin - White On White

Good Morning fellow bloggers and happy weekend! :)

Todays card is for our new challenge over at Sweet Stampin, where this week our theme is WoW.  We are sponsored by our regular monthly sponsor Joanna Sheen, and our weekly sponsors are Letraset, and also one of my teamies Natali's own shop Iva Nova Chest - so some fabby prizes up for grabs!

For my card I used Ice Pearl Centura 300gsm cardstock and layered up embossed and die cut panels.  The dies are a mix of Spellbinder and Doo Hickey and the ribbon and pearly flowers are from stash.  I coloured this cute Tilda with ProMarkers and added some translucent glitter in crystal and pink.  This was my second attempt at this card and is actually re-constructed as my original Tilda looked too small and a bit lost against all the layers and dies.  As a result I'm still not very chuffed with it, but I will chalk this one down to experience! lol :)

I am entering this card in the below competitions:

Just Magnolia - Anything Goes

I have been a bit MIA or 'off the grid' the last couple of weeks due to our summer holidays, so I thought I would share with you a photo my husband took last night of Eilean Donan Castle.  This was featured in the film Highlander many years ago and I think one of the most iconic places in Scotland.  Its a favourite picnic spot of ours and also much better to visit when most of the tourists have gone home too! lol :D

I hope everyone has a smashing weekend, and thanks so much for visiting my blog today.  I shall be catching up over the next couple of days and thanks so much for all the lovely comments. :)

Gorgeous chiffony corners & I love all the postty elements including the ribbon. Hindsight/experience is a wonderful thing....... but not mid construction. With all your layers I think you'd porbably have got away without an image but it would have to be tried & of course might not be 'de rigeur' or whatever the phrase is. Photo's wonderful - isn't it great to enjoy these things on your doorstep without the punters about??
