Cheery Lynn Designs - Easter

Good Morning fellow crafters and bloggers! :)

Todays card is for our new challenge over at Cheery Lynn Designs where this week our theme is 'Easter'.  :)  As always the lucky winner will receive $20 to spend on the Cheery Lynn Website, so well worth joining in!

Now, I have been wanting to use my Lace Egg die for ages, so really enjoyed making this sweet card in layers of chocolate and cream cardstock.  I stitched MME papers onto rich brown bazzil card and sanded and distressed around the edges.  I used the gorgeous Polynesian Sails die to mat and frame my image, and cut 3 easter eggs from contrasting card and paper and decorated with pearls.  I added 2 delicate butterflies from the Tiny Things with Wings set, and finished off with 'Happy Easter' from the brilliant mix and match range of sentiment dies.

All dies used on this card are:

I hope you find time to play along with our challenge this week, the DT love popping along to see all the creative ways you can use Cheery Lynn Dies, and there is always daily inspiration over on our Cheery Lynn Designs Inspiration Blog too.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and have a smashing day!

This is rather special – gorgeous use of the creams & browns for those eggs – amazing sight with all the pearls you added which echo the polka dots of the patterned paper in those eggs. The tiny amount of blue in your circles patterned paper is beautifully echoed in your colouring of the image. I particularly like the way the little floral elements of your Polynesian Sails die echoes the ‘rays’ in that patterned paper too, never mind the scallops of the base card.

Ooooh Alison, this one's fabulous!!! Love, love, love that die (am off to see if I can find it in the UK) and your image is just beautiful.

Have been wandering back through earlier cards - after not coming over to visit your very much recently - and have been oooh-ing and ahh-ing over them (and your dies, of course!).

Right I'm stopping the waffle now and off to shop!
