Good Luck!

For Stella

Hi and Good Morning Everyone :) Happy Wednesday!.

My card today again mixes old and new dies from Cheery Lynn, and I really had a blast making this sweet card.  I started off with a 6 x 6 inch blank card base, and layered flowersoft papers onto lilac and white bazzill card, and then set about playing with my dies.

I created the bottom lace border using a strip of white card cut with the City Girl Edger, and added lilac ribbon and a tiny border from the Expandable Tiny Borders die.  I tucked the Grass border just above it, and this runs behind the image panel.

I used my favourite Sunflower Doily (Although I do love them all lol) and layered circle and scalloped circle stackers in the centre with my main image, adding tiny flowers around the edge.

I created the floral spray using the Daisy Strip, Darling Daisies and Olive Branches and added a butterfly and tag.  I made flowersoft lavender sprigs, and finished off with  a bow, pin and pearl heart .

All dies used on this card are:

A196 - Darling Daisies - also Tiny Green leaves on doily
B188 - Embellishment #2 - Tiny Flowers round doily

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, and dont forget our challenge this week over at Cheery Lynn Designs is Embossing, so I hope you find time to join in.

Have a smashing week!

Love how your selective use of greens makes the violet & white really 'pop'. Thos furry heather sprigs look rather special & I love those little white flowers with the pearls & their calyx. (perhaps that should be calices??).

Hi Alison, my goodness its been ages since I visited - I feel like a complete stranger!!

Still it's given me a great opportunity to have an extended wander around your blog and look at all your gorgeous cards - still queen of the dies I see! And what wonderful dies they are too!!

Hope the puppy isn't giving you too much trouble and I promise not to leave it too long before I visit again.

This is truly gorgeous. I'd put this in a shadow box if someone gave it to me. It's too beautiful to let it even get dusty on a shelf...it's outstanding. --Gail

Hi Alison. I think this card is just so soft and pretty looking. I know I have mentioned it before, but I just love how you make your cards with the dies and everything else. They are always such a sweet treat to come over and see. Did I ever mention that because of your cards and ideas I was able to come up with the idea for my Neice's Wedding Invitations? She wanted me to make them for her, but she didn't like anything that she had seen on the internet or in stores. Thanks to you I was able to come up with a card that she loves and now I am almost done (3 months) making all 150 invitations, RSVP cards and receptions detail cards for her. =o) Thanks for sharing your talents with us all. Hugs, Lisa G

Hey Alison, great card hun.

But, I've really popped by to see if you're OK. You've not been around for a few weeks. I hope you're alright.
