I ♥ Promarkers - Sketch week

Mornin' :)  Today sees the start of a new challenge over at I ♥ Promarkers, where we have a really lovely, and simple sketch to follow.  I say simple...... but I just couldnt resist adding lots of embellies to mine! lol.

We are sponsored this week by one of our regular sponsors - Digi Doodle Shop  and the DT were given some lovely images to play with.

I actually chose the above image, as my poor dog Kevin took a wee tumble down the stairs and hurt his leg, and has had to have a bandage on it over the last week.  It wasnt serious, and its almost better, but I guess I made this with him in mind :) awww!

I used Papermania papers, Marianne dies, and MS butterfly and border punch.

I will be entering this card in the below competitions:

Allsorts challenge - Its Your Choice
2 Sisters Challenge - Anything Goes
Lexis Creations - Monochromatic
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes
Marianne Design Divas - Winter blues

Thanks so much for looking at my blog today, and all the lovely comments, they really are appreciated.  My internet has been pretty poor over the last couple of days, but I will be catching up later :)

Hi Alison, awwww what a sweet image and a gorgeous card. Love the colours and those flowers and leaves are gorgeous!!

Poor doggy, glad to hear he's getting better. Unusual name for a dog, Kevin - I bet there's a story behind that one! I had a friend who called her dog Terrence, after her father-in-law!

First you & then Kevin - hope no-one else comes to grief on your stairs. I love the monochrome look of this & how soft it is - wonder if Kevin will appreciate the little furry creature which looks might like it might purr!
Love the shading on her aron & those little puff sleeves.

hiya, first of all thank you so much for your lovely comment, I would ask if you do scrap page layouts?? that would be one reason that I find 8 x 8 inch cards not a problem, if you are use to filling a 12 x 12 space you can easily fill the 8 x 8

your card is stunning, such delicate glitter addition pretty die cut leaves and gorgeous die cut flowers superbly put together just gorgeous
