Happy Birthday

Hi and Good Morning everyone :)

Tut.. Blogger let me down with the scheduling of this post :( Bah!

So.. todays card is a quick and simple Birthday card made with a few gorgeous Cheery Lynn Dies.

I started off with a blank 6 x 6 inch card base, and layered Prima papers onto aqua bazzil card and inked the edges with Distress Ink.

I layered the really pretty Mesh Hearts Border onto my paper panel and tucked the Lace Light Deco Border strip behind before sticking down.  I then added Felicity Tiny Doily to the top right corner.

I coloured my image and backed onto aqua card cut with the Card maker scalloped rectangles and then added the cute clouds and Birthday Sentiment

Told you it was simples! :)

All dies used on this card are:

B319 - Mesh Hearts Border - Vertical
B133 - Lace Light Deco Border
DL243 - Felicity Tiny Doily
CM-2 - Cardmaker Rectangles Scalloped
B231 Birthday Sentiment
B320 Clouds and Rain

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, and have a smashing week!

It's the way that so many elements work together - especially the little doily echoed by the heart mesh. The pearly brads with the wooden embellishments are just a lovely touch & really give the feel of the wood on that swing seat.
R still recovering from knee op so I'm still on mowing & woodland management duties never mind slug patrol.
