Shabby Spring and a lot of bling!

So a Happy Mothers Day to all mums and nans in the UK today :)

Todays card is again using on of my favourite LOTV stamps - Dandelion Clock.  There is just something about this image that captivates me and keeps me wanting to get it out time after time.

I used K&Co papers and followed the fab sketch over on Simon Says Stamp. I distressed, hand-stitched and beaded the papers, corners and image.

The flower is K&Co (with added bling and distressing), and the gems in her hair are tiny clear acrylic dots.......

.........and made the dragonfly dangly out of jewellery findings - simples :)

I am entering this card in the below competitions:

Lili of the Valley - Spring - Dandelions are spring flowers
Simon Says Stamp - Fab Sketch
Really Reasonable Ribbon - Dies, punches and ribbon
By The Cute and Girly - Cute and Girly

Stamp, Scrap & Doodle - Glitz and Gems

Wags n' Whiskers - Ribbons and pearls

Beautifull card, I love that image and how you have coloured her and all your lovelly added elements.

I ended up buying Mother's Day cards, started making one on Friday and was going to finish off yesterday and woke up Saturday morning having slept funny, I think, and now have pain in my shoulder and neck and can't move very well at all, this is the first time since Friday I have sat in front of the pc, am well miffed I can tell you although it has meant that I was able to sit with my feet up all morning and watch Barbara Gray on Create and Craft :)

Anyway, am going to have a go now at a bit of card making and see what challenges I can do and I will do your tagging hehe :) xx
