Hello

Hi and Good Morning everyone :)  Today over on the Cheery Lynn Designs Blog I am sharing a card I made using some of the gorgeous new release dies and my favourite 'Alison's Ribbons'! :)

I started off with a 6 x 6" blank card base and layered american crafts cardstock and K&Co papers.  I created the side panel by adding the oh so pretty Ankara Lace Border to each side, and then adding some gorgeous flourishes, butterflies and flowers.

I made the  ribbon border using scraps of left over card and paper and attached to the side.  I coloured my main image and matted and layered using circle stacker and scalloped dies, and then placed it on top of the stunning  Priscilla Doily.

For a finishing touch I added the Hello sentiment, and some grey blue pearls from stash.

All dies used on this card are:

B346 - Hello
B188 - Build a Flower Embellishment ~2
DL112 - Exotic Butterfly Small
B291 - Mini fanciful Flourish R
B117S - Mini Fanciful Flourish
DL260 - Priscilla Doily
L-4 - Silver Stacker Circles
XL-5 - Scalloped Circles
B335 - Alisons Ribbons
B332 - Ankara Lace Border

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, and I hope you find time to join in our challenge where this week our theme is 'Fun with Letters'.

Have a smashing week,

Your ribbons are are superb & I love your soft colouring of the image with those tiny die-cut flowers echoing those in the image. The Prsicilla doily is striking indeed the way you used it.

Alison, this is stunning I love everything about it.
I really like how you have coloured the cute image. It blends with the card rather than take over.

Hi Alison. This card is just gorgeous! I know I say it everytime, but I just love how you use these dies to make such stunning cards. You are very talented and I can see why you are part of the Cheery Lynn DT, They found gold when they found you. :O) I am wondering if you have ever worked with the dies DL125 Celtic Fire Rectangle Frame and D138 Mini Dimensional Butterflies w/angel wings... My daught bought them for me as a Birthday gift and I can't seem to come up with anything overly special with them. In fact I still haven't even taken apart the butterflies as I don't know how to use them. Do you or would you be able to give me a tip or two? Thanks so much. Lisa G
