Shabby Chic - Charisma Cardz

Good Morning, I'm back again today with another card :)

Our new challenge over at Charisma Cardz this week is 'Shabby Chic', and we are sponsored by the brilliant Joanna Sheen and the fabulous Bunny Zoe's Crafts

Now an even better surprise, and an extra special reason to play along this week is also a voucher code for 10% off all purchases online from Bunny Zoe's Crafts for everyone who enters our challenge!  How fab is that!! :)

So, onto my card........  I think this was one of the very first rubber stamps I ever bought and I still love it!  Its always kept out on display as its more like a crafting ornament! lol :)

I stamped the image with Memento Rich Cocoa , and then matted onto Bazzill cardstock.  The hand-stitched papers are a mix of Prima and K&Co, and the flowers are WOC.  There is a little piece of cheesecloth tucked behind the layers and the chipboard sentiment is from very ancient stash, which was just sanded and roughed up a bit.

I am entering this card in the below competitions:

By The Cute & Girly - Once Upon A Time
ABC Challenge - N is for Neutrals
Totally Gorjuss - Blling
Dream Valley - Earth Tones
Stamptacular Sunday - Freebie Week
Bling It On - Monochrome
Simon Says Stamp & Show - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Paper Sundaes - Anything Goes
Crafts & Me - Vintage

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, and for all the lovely comments, I read them all and they are much appreciated :)

Me again! Alison this is just wonderful.

Thing is I've got that stamp (one I brought a loooong time ago when I first started stamping and thought I'd be into 'arty' things) and that sentiment, but don't think I'd ever be able to make a card this beautiful with them! I just don't have the feel for it and eye for detail that you do.

I'm not going to list all I like about it - I'd be here all night! Lets just say I think it's all brilliant.

Have a great weekend.

Sarah

Thanks for the tip about the Cheery Lynn challenge - I've entered my card and added this challenge to my favourites. Btw, lovely hanglar only is now lovely hanglar and sweet magnolias, so any of your Tilda cards can be entered there now. Have a lovely weekend. Hugs, Tracey x
