So today sees the start of a new challenge over at I ♥ Promarkers and because its such a busy time of the year for everyone, this challenge will run for 2 weeks. It also couldnt be easier to enter as our theme is 'Anything Goes!' :) What a great excuse to test out any new stash we get from Santa! ;) lol.

I have made this card for my wonderful hubby to give him on Christmas Day. I know he has indulged me and spoiled me rotten this year, and is also taking us out for Christmas Dinner. It takes such a lot of stress away when you dont have to worry about last minute grocery shopping, cooking the perfect dinner and then the dreaded washing up! :) lol.

I used a cute Fizzy Moon stamp and matching papers, and kept it quite clean and simple looking for me. The dies are Spellbinders and Marianne, and the image is coloured using PM's and Flexmarkers.

Oooh... this is a lovely card Alison. I too treated myself to this stamp but haven't got around to playing with it. I intend to do a little stamping and colouring over Christmas so it may get christened then. The Fizzy Moon Christmas collection was gorgeous this year and I made quite a few cards from the decoupage pack. Hope you have a lovely Christmas and thank you too for becoming a follower. This is a lovely card, and not too fussy for a man. I love the idea of the 'thank you' for Christmas. How thoughtful of him to take you out on Christmas day. Much less stressful and so a real treat for you both. Hope you have a lovely time. I'll be thinking of you when I'm getting all hot and bothered steaming my sprouts !!

Awww, this is just perfect Alison; those little bears are adorable. I love all the sparkle you've added.
I do Christmas dinner every year for 9 of us and, as much as I love everyone being together, it is stressful and tiring. I was chuffed to bits when my daughter suggested we all go out next year - yay!!

This is sooooooo gorgeous sweetie I love the colours & the fizzy moon image is just so darn cute. We are lucky to have hubbies who indulge in us.....a lot lol. Altho I've been good & told him I want no new stamps this year lol...the only crafting thing I've had is some new copics which came yesterday.......I am allowed them early lol.
Also wanted to say incase I dont get chance after today I just want to wish you & your family hun a magical christmas & all the very best for 2012 hun.

Hi Alsion. This is really beautiful. Love the cute image and the colours and detail are amazing as always. Snowman Soup is a cellophane? bag filled with marshmallows, hot chocolate sachet and a candy cane. I also use a snowman soup verse from hi hopes stamps although you can google the verse too. Donna

He sounds a real gem - taking you out for Christmas Dinner and it will be wonderful for you! I think 'the xmas dinner' can sometimes be very stressful. There has been many an argument over it in our house over past years!!! LOL. My brother once bought a turkey and forgot to defrost it. It was quite big and he somehow stuffed it in microwave to try and defrost it. When it didn't work he took it back to the shop and said he had bought it and it was all bruised and battered!!! ROFL and that's just one story….
