Charisma Cardz - Over the Rainbow

Hope everyone is safe and warm today - the storms have given us a bashing eh?  We lost our power again for 2 days (its getting to be a pain lately!) tut, and tonight we have been treated to  thunder and lightning! (which I do not like!) :(

Anyway, my bright and cheery card today is for our new challenge over at Charisma Cardz where our theme this week is 'Over the Rainbow' and we have some fabby prizes to be won.  We are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and Crimson Cloud, so well worth playing along, and the rest of the DT's creations are gorgeous, bright and beautiful.

I used a cute digi-stamp from a Country Companions CD (DoCrafts) and matched it with some old rainbow paper and new MS Punch, embossing folder and doohickey dragonfly dies.

I am entering this card in the below competitions:

Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp - New something (MS Punch)
Paper Sundaes Out with the Old, In with the New - Old Rainbow paper, New MS punch :)
Simon Says Stamp and Show - Show old and new - (as above)

I am still a little behind on my commenting (due to power cuts) but I will definately be popping along this week to catch up.  Thanks so much for all the lovely comments, and good luck to everyone entering the challenges.

Hi Alsion, such a sweet card. Perfect colouring (as always) and great colours - so soft and pretty.

Sounds like you've been having a rough time of it with the weather - we had quite a blowy evening and night, but nowhere near as bad as you! Hope it blows itself out soon and you get back to normal.

Hi Alison, adorable card and the image is so cute. Sorry to hear that you have had a power outage. We have also had some stormy weather but were I live we have not lost the power thankfully. Thanks for all the inspiration.

What a pretty card you have made Alison. Sorry to hear you lost your power, what a pain. Still blowing a gale here and would rather be indoors than school runs and walking the dog. lol

Aww this is SO sweet Alison! I love the image and all the lovely pastels. Those dragonflies and the rainbow card and string are all gorgeous!
Sorry to hear that you lost power again!! Hope it is back on and stays on for you ;-)
It was very windy here also last night!! We live on terraced road and it sounded like an Express Train was roaring down it for about five hours!!! And then we had the wheelie bins hurtling down the road for accompaniment!!! LOL didn't get much sleep !!!
Take Care
Love Sue xx

One of the woodland trees is at a 45 degree angle.........found a piece of our kitchen tiling outside the back door - we stripped that out two & a half years ago, haven't a clue where the wind unearthed that from. Hope your power remains - we only lost ours for 5 mins; rather think we got off very lightly. Love the fresh rainbow colours & you can imagine the little chap pointing at the rainbow he's spotted in the sky.
Take care
